“When people give you opportunities just say yes because you can always say no later.”~ Lucy Millman

Wildly entertaining, vividly real and full of joy, my amazing guest today is that and so much more! Lucy Millman, a pure soul I met visiting  Bella Vineyards Winery , has solidified her journey in life as a passionate advocate for breast cancer research and massive supporter of the Susan G Komen walk for breast cancer.

From an illness of self discovery, to a random meeting from the owners of the bottle of wine coincidently with her name on it, Lucy’s fight against breast cancer has been just as tenacious as raising funds to support the Susan G Komen walk for breast cancer every year. Listen in as Lucy regails in her cancer fighting journey and explains why it was the best thing that ever happened to her.

As a breast cancer survivor, and overachiever in being one of 32 people who have raised over $200,000 for the Susan G Komen  walk, Lucy follows a dream inspired by the Pisoni Family from the Santa Lucia Highlands American Viticulture Area, who donated generously to Lucy’s mission. Lucy and I discuss her glorious full circle as I describe her connection to her childhood passion for art and the journey she has inspired so many in her life now!
